This vintage porcelain “Happy Anniversary” plate features an elegant reticulated (openwork) border with a silver overlay rim and a green silk ribbon woven through and tied into a formal bow for wall display. Manufactured in 1967 or early 1968, it was gifted to celebrate a 32nd wedding anniversary.

• Center Design: “Happy Anniversary” in script, surrounded by delicate blue, pink, and black floral sprigs
• Border: Wide pierced/reticulated rim with shiny silver overlay (platinum gilt)
• Ribbon: Green silk ribbon woven through the border slots, tied in a bow for hanging

The Inscription

The back of the plate bears a handwritten pencil inscription — a common mid-century gifting tradition — reading:

“32 Ann. Margaret & Ansel De Remer from Teresa and Calvin Dodds Feb. 15, 1968”
