A lovely piece of post-WWII Japanese ceramic art! This decorative porcelain plate features a vibrant spring floral design, hand-painted and signed by Japanese pottery artist J. Mace. During the 1950s–1960s, Japanese ceramic manufacturers produced a high volume of hand-painted floral cabinet ware primarily for export to Western gift shops — and signed pieces like this are a standout find for collectors.
